2001 National Finalists


After an extensive national search, 29 leaders were named national finalists in the 2005 Leadership for a Changing World awards program.

Leadership for a Changing World is a program of the Ford Foundation in partnership with the Advocacy Institute and the Robert F. Wagner Graduate School of Public Service at New York University. The program recognizes extraordinary leaders or leadership teams across the United States who are changing lives and transforming communities — often against great odds.
